NAAMA GHEBER is a New York-based jazz vocalist inspired by the emotionally
direct compositions of Rodgers and Hart, Fields and Hugh, Cole Porter and
other great composers and lyricist of the 1930’s and ‘40’s. Possessed with
an urbane and elegant voice, Gheber’s sensitive interpretation and crisp
phrasing have become recognizable elements of her signature style and
timeless appeal.

Gheber was born in Israel and is a graduate of The New School For Jazz and
Contemporary Music in New York. She performs widely around the city in
venues such as Smalls Jazz Club, The Cell Theater, Cornelia Street Cafe and
others, as well a teaches and leads workshops for musicians and the general

In her current European tour, Naama and her band will tell the story of an
elegant, urbane era in NYC, by singing the music of influential vocalists
such as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra and Nat king Cole. The
repertoire will include famous jazz standards alongside rare, forgotten
tunes in original arrangements.
