The Trondheim-based Quartet ‘Line Up’ plays the music of Lennie Tristano, Lee Konitz and Warne Marsh.

Based on chord-progressions of standards, Line Up plays so-called “lines” that Tristano, Konitz and Marsh composed. Combined with interactive improvisations around those melodies and spontaneity in their playing.

Line Up are four young musicians who are based in Trondheim, Norway and have played in this formation since 2016.

They are active part of the jazzscene in Trondheim and can be heard in various musical settings.
